Valeda may be an appropriate dry macular degeneration treatment for patients diagnosed with certain stages of dry age-related macular degeneration, particularly those with intermediate AMD and significant drusen. You may be a candidate if you have: Intermediate dry macular degeneration, large drusen, gradual central vision changes, difficulty reading, difficulty recognizing faces, reduced contrast sensitivity, or distortion and blurred central vision. Every patient receives a comprehensive retinal examination, OCT imaging, and evaluation by our retina specialist to determine whether FDA-authorized light therapy, like Valeda, is suitable for their retinal health treatment.

Valeda employs FDA-authorized light therapy through photobiomodulation, delivering specific wavelengths of visible light to retinal cells.
